Ocean Brands announces acquisition of leading premium sardines brand Club Des Millionnaires®
Richmond, September 7, 2018 – Ocean Brands, a leading supplier of canned seafood products, including Gold Seal® Salmon and Oceans® Tuna, has announced the acquisition of the brand Club Des Millionnaires® from Harold T. Griffin Inc. BDO Transaction Advisory Services was the exclusive financial advisor to Harold T. Griffin for this transaction.
Club Des Millionnaires® is a leading Canadian brand of premium canned sardines and anchovies. The Club Des Millionnaires® line of products has been enjoyed by Canadians for over a century, and is today, one of Canada’s most iconic and recognized canned seafood brands providing a broad range of canned sardine and anchovies. It’s most popular product are small sardines (Brislings) called “Small – Petits” bearing the tagline “Fish She is Very Small.”
